Most massage therapists enter this profession because they want to help people, not because they expect to navigate difficult clients, solve complex pain patterns, protect themselves from boundary violations, or figure out how to build a career that lasts.

Yet those are the challenges that often determine whether a therapist simply survives or truly thrives.

That's why I founded Integrative Touch Institute.

​

My name is Lisa Erwin, and I've been a licensed massage therapist since 2000, and I'm also a licensed massage instructor. Throughout my career, I've worked with thousands of clients, pursued advanced training in clinical massage, pain management, injury recovery, stone therapy, and nervous system regulation, and discovered that the greatest lessons rarely come from textbooks—they come from real therapists solving real problems.

ITI was created to bridge the gap between certification and confidence.

Every course on this platform is designed with one question in mind:

"Will this help a therapist become more confident, more capable, and better prepared for the real world?"

Whether we're teaching therapist safety, clinical reasoning, specialized techniques, communication, or business growth, our goal is always the same: to provide practical education that therapists can apply the very next day.

As ITI grows, my vision is to bring together experienced instructors who share that same philosophy—educators who believe continuing education should do more than award CE hours. It should strengthen the profession by helping therapists build safe, confident, successful, and sustainable careers.
